To Whom It May Concern:

The cost of government is already too high for hard-working Americans, which is why I urge you to withdraw from the School Adequacy case.  Taxpayers like me provide our hard earned money to our schools for educating our children, not for suing us.  Our school district has been part of an effort that has misdirected our children’s educational funding to lawyers.

We elected you to be good stewards of the tax money we provide locally and through the state and federal governments.  The court has determined that the legislature is in full compliance with all the Constitutional provisions regarding educational funding.  The court’s ruling was clear and would take a significant effort to overturn.

The money wasted so far on this misguided effort is more than enough.  Spending more of our children’s educational funds on an appeal is a waste of our tax money and is not likely to be successful.

I am opposed to higher taxes especially when they are driven by wasteful spending.  I know I am joined in that view by my fellow members of Americans for Prosperity. Please oppose the continuation of this lawsuit to appeal the decisive judgment against you.
